Checkout Blocked in Preview
If you're trying to purchase credits and see an alert saying "Checkout only works from the published app, not the preview," this is intentional behavior.
Why This Happens
Stripe checkout requires a secure, published domain to process payments. When the app runs inside a preview iframe (like during development or in the builder), Stripe's checkout page can't properly redirect back to the app.
How to Fix
To purchase credits, you need to use the published version of Ideasies:
- Make sure the app has been published
- Access Ideasies at its published URL (not the preview/builder URL)
- Navigate to Buy Credits and complete your purchase
Still Having Issues?
If you're on the published app and checkout still isn't working:
- Check that your browser isn't blocking pop-ups or redirects
- Try a different browser or incognito mode
- Ensure JavaScript is enabled
- Contact support if the issue persists
